Position Overview
Our client is seeking multiple Full-Time Special Education Teachers for in-person school-based positions in Marysville, California. In this role, you will provide specialized instruction to students with diverse learning needs, develop individualized educational plans, and foster an inclusive classroom environment that supports academic, social, and emotional growth.

  • Compensation: $57.00–$76.98 per hour (commensurate with experience)

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and educate students in a special education classroom setting.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Deliver instruction in accordance with established special education curriculum and best practices.
  • Foster a positive, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and school staff.
  • Monitor student progress and document grades, evaluations, and required educational records.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student achievement and success.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.
  • Valid California Special Education (SPED) Teaching Credential.
  • Minimum of one year of teaching experience in a school setting.
  • Strong classroom management and instructional skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build rapport with students and families.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and collaboration skills.
