Job Title: eCommerce Director – Marketplace Business
Location: Kenilworth, NJ
Salary Range: $120,000 – $175,000 (Depending on Experience)
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and data-driven eCommerce Director to lead and optimize our multi-channel marketplace business, selling across Amazon, eBay, Walmart, and other eCommerce platforms. The ideal candidate has a strong background in marketplace operations, is proficient in Microsoft Excel, has hands-on experience with SellerCloud, and possesses a working knowledge of SQL. They should have previously sold products online using SellerCloud and have a proven track record of scaling marketplace sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize sales, improve ranking, and enhance profitability across Amazon, eBay, Walmart, and other platforms.
- Oversee product listings, order processing, and inventory synchronization through SellerCloud, ensuring seamless marketplace integration.
- Analyze sales data, identify trends, optimize pricing, and improve inventory turnover.
- Proficient in advanced Excel functions (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Macros, Power Query, etc.) to analyze and manipulate sales data, develop reports, and identify actionable insights.
- Ability to write and execute basic SQL queries to extract relevant data from SellerCloud and other platforms, enabling deeper analysis and decision-making.
- Work closely with operations and fulfillment teams to ensure adequate stock levels, reduce overselling, and optimize FBA, WFS, and in-house fulfillment.
- Manage advertising campaigns across marketplaces to maximize ROI and revenue growth.
- Stay up-to-date with marketplace policies and ensure compliance with the various marketplaces’ platform seller guidelines.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in marketplace eCommerce management (Amazon, eBay, Walmart, etc.).
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Macros, Power Query, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with SellerCloud (required).
- Basic SQL knowledge to extract and analyze data.
- Proven track record of successfully selling products online through SellerCloud.
- Experience with marketplace advertising platforms (Amazon PPC, Walmart Connect, eBay Promoted Listings).
- Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in high-volume eCommerce sales ($5M+ revenue).
- Familiarity with API integrations and automation tools.
- Background in supply chain logistics or demand planning.
