Job Title: Logistics Coordinator 
Department: Accounting 
Location: Fairfield, NJ (Onsite)  

Schedule: Monday–Friday – 6am–2:30pm or 7am–3:30pm (Can be flexible) 

Position Overview: 

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to oversee the coordination of shipments, inventory, and communication with clients and vendors. This role is critical in maintaining smooth day-to-day logistics operations and will serve as the key point of contact for both domestic and international logistics. The ideal candidate is someone who will bring a fresh energy, has excellent communication skills, and accountability to help improve response times and client satisfaction. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Communicate and coordinate with shippers and transporters to negotiate rates and arrange shipments. 

  • Ensure customs and tax documentation is accurate and kept up to date with current regulations. 

  • Manage inventory across extended warehouses, including tracking all containers and contents for specific clients. 

  • Maintain and monitor inventory for Israeli locations. 

  • Create and submit web reports to customer portals. 

  • Respond to client inquiries, providing excellent customer service and routing issues to the appropriate channels. 

  • Review purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy and compliance. 

  • Arrange special shipping accommodations and correct shipping errors as needed. 

  • Post bills and create customer invoices in QuickBooks Desktop. 

  • Manage collections of Accounts Receivable and support basic account management. 

  • Ensure timely and professional communication with clients and vendors 

  • Field calls for urgent shipping needs and help ensure proper container space allocation. 

  • Maintain high standards for service quality and accountability even during slow periods. 

Required Qualifications: 

  • High School Diploma required, Associate Degree preferred

  • 3–5 years of logistics or supply chain experience. 

  • Familiarity with international shipping and container logistics 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks Desktop, including inventory modules. 

  • Strong understanding of inventory and supply chain principles. 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; Hebrew language skills preferred. 

  • Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive. 

  • Energetic and able to take initiative.
