Position Overview
Our client is looking for a Technical Account Manager to join our growing team. This role is perfect for someone with 1–3 years of experience in the tech industry, ideally within an MSP environment, who thrives on connecting with clients and delivering exceptional service.  

Location: Lakewood, NJ
Employment Type: This is a Full-Time, Exempt position requiring flexibility to meet client needs. The employees are expected to manage their time and schedule to meet the demands of the role, often exceeding 40 hours per week
Hourly Rate: $120,000 + Commission Structure (Based on experience)

Key Responsibilities 

  • Own the Client Relationship: Serve as the primary liaison for one of our largest clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.  
  • Build Trust: Maintain strong, long-term relationships through proactive communication and regular touchpoints.  
  • Strategic Influence: Coordinate with internal teams (Engineering, Support) to align services with client goals and SLAs.  
  • Drive Growth: Develop and implement account strategies, negotiate service enhancements, and make recommendations that impact client success and company revenue.  
  • Represent ID-Tech: Act as the face of the company in all client interactions—professional, positive, and solution-oriented.  
  • Manage Lifecycle: Oversee client needs from onboarding to contract upgrades and optional enhancements. 

Qualifications

  • A background in account management, consultative sales, or roles involving client-facing responsibilities is a must.  
  • Experience: 1–3 years in a technology-related role; MSP experience strongly preferred.  
  • Technical Understanding: Comfortable discussing IT solutions (Microsoft 365, networking, servers) with clients.  
  • Relationship Builder: Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to connect with executives and decision-makers.  
  • Proactive & Organized: Skilled at managing priorities and driving results.  
  • Passion for Tech: Eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.  

Compensation
The published salary range is used as a guide to provide prospective candidates with a level of compensation that is competitive with today’s market. The salary range for this position is a good faith estimate that allows for flexibility to align with various levels of experience, education, and performance.
