Position Overview 
Our client is looking for an experienced Director of Asset Management to consult and aid in the financial governance and protection of its properties and other assets. Successful candidates will be able to maximize the value, performance, and long-term returns of a real estate portfolio through strategic oversight of property operations, financial performance, compliance, budgeting, and maintaining a strong relationship with property managers.

Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary Range: $225,000.00 - $275,000.00 USD/Annually

Key Responsibilities 
  • Oversee day-to-day performance of assigned properties in collaboration with property management teams.
  • Develop and execute asset-level business plans aligned with ownership goals.
  • Monitor operating budgets, financial statements, and cash flow.
  • Review and approve annual budget, forecast, and variance reports.
  • Drive leasing strategy, rent optimization, and occupancy goals.
  • Evaluate and oversee capital improvement projects and major repairs.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, lender covenants, and internal policies.
  • Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies across all assets and properties.
  • Ingrain and lead customer service practices to improve tenant experience.

Qualifications 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in asset management, property management, or real estate operations.
  • Strong financial analysis skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and NOI optimization.
  • Experience managing multi-asset or multi-property portfolios.
  • Working knowledge of leases, property operations, and capital planning.
  • Proficient with property management and financial software. Experience in Yardy is highly preferred.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Compensation  
The published salary range is used as a guide to provide prospective candidates with a level of compensation that is competitive with today’s market. The salary range for this position is a good faith estimate that allows for flexibility to align with various levels of experience, education, and performance.
