Compensation: $140,000.00 - $160,000.00
Job Summary
We are looking for a Revenue Cycle Manager with Pharmacy experience to work in our cost consulting department, ensuring optimal formulary interchanges and cost containment strategies. This role requires a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and ability to multitask, while providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Cost Analysis and Consulting: Analyze pharmaceutical costs, identify opportunities for cost savings, and develop strategies for formulary interchanges.
- Formulary Management: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop, implement, and manage formularies, ensuring cost-effective medication options.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to our customers, healthcare providers, and internal teams, addressing medication inquiries and concerns.
- Billing and Reimbursement: Ensure accurate billing and reimbursement processes, resolving issues promptly.
- Cost Containment: Develop and implement cost containment strategies, monitoring and evaluating their effectiveness.
- Data Analysis: Analyze data to inform cost-saving decisions, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including clinical, operations, and finance.
- Staying Current: Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes, industry developments, and best practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years in Revenue Cycle Management within the Pharmacy Industry
- Experience in formulary management and cost analysis
- 3+ years of pharmacy experience, preferably in cost consulting or managed care
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage high-stress situations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis software
- Familiarity with billing and reimbursement processes
Preferred Qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
- Current licensure to practice pharmacy
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance reimbursement policies
- Certification in Pharmacotherapy (BCPS) or Clinical Pharmacology (CCP)
- Experience with cost containment strategies and initiatives
