Job Title: Revenue Cycle Manager 
Compensation: $140,000.00 - $160,000.00

Job Summary

We are looking for a Revenue Cycle Manager with Pharmacy experience to work in our cost consulting department, ensuring optimal formulary interchanges and cost containment strategies. This role requires a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and ability to multitask, while providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cost Analysis and Consulting: Analyze pharmaceutical costs, identify opportunities for cost savings, and develop strategies for formulary interchanges.
  • Formulary Management: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop, implement, and manage formularies, ensuring cost-effective medication options.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to our customers, healthcare providers, and internal teams, addressing medication inquiries and concerns.
  • Billing and Reimbursement: Ensure accurate billing and reimbursement processes, resolving issues promptly.
  • Cost Containment: Develop and implement cost containment strategies, monitoring and evaluating their effectiveness.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze data to inform cost-saving decisions, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including clinical, operations, and finance.
  • Staying Current: Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes, industry developments, and best practices.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in Revenue Cycle Management within the Pharmacy Industry
  • Experience in formulary management and cost analysis
  • 3+ years of pharmacy experience, preferably in cost consulting or managed care
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage high-stress situations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis software
  • Familiarity with billing and reimbursement processes

Preferred Qualifications

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
  • Current licensure to practice pharmacy
  • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance reimbursement policies
  • Certification in Pharmacotherapy (BCPS) or Clinical Pharmacology (CCP)
  • Experience with cost containment strategies and initiatives
