Store Associate

Location: Allentown, PA

Schedule: M-Th, 7:30am- 5pm; Fri, 7:30am - 1pm; Sunday, 9am - 12pm

Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Store Associate to join our team. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their skills in retail while nurturing a strong ambition to pursue a career in sales. The position involves maintaining a clean and organized store, assisting customers, and managing front-end operations. Additionally, you will have opportunities to engage in sales activities during downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and provide excellent customer service by assisting with locating items and answering questions.
• Manage front-end store operations, ensuring a welcoming and efficient shopping experience.
• Restock shelves by retrieving items from the warehouse and organizing them in the store.
• Clean and maintain the store, including floors, bathrooms, and common areas such as the coffee station.
• Perform location maintenance tasks, such as returning samples taken down by customers.
• Assist customers with carrying merchandise, including heavy items like hardwood and supplies, to their vehicles.
• Learn about products and supplies to provide helpful recommendations and product knowledge.
• Conduct sales transactions during free time or as needed to support store operations.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in English (additional languages are a plus).
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Friendly and approachable demeanor with strong communication skills.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items as needed.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on cleanliness and organization.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to wear the uniform provided.
