The Women’s Health practice is divided into two on-site divisions: OBGYN/MFM and REI. With both Maternal Fetal Medicine and Reproductive Endocrinology services available on site, patients benefit from streamlined prenatal diagnostics, coordinated specialty consultations, and seamless continuity of care. 

The OBGYN division includes a full obstetrics and gynecology unit with prenatal and gynecologic ultrasound services. All deliveries are performed at Staten Island University Hospital. The department is experiencing continued growth, with a vision to expand its provider team and deliver care to approximately 900 to 1,000 obstetrical patients annually. 

Position Overview
Our client is seeking a dedicated and compassionate OBGYN Physician to join the growing Women’s Health team. This role focuses heavily on Obstetrics while also providing comprehensive gynecologic care. The physician will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered services in both outpatient and hospital settings. 

This position offers the opportunity to practice in a supportive, collaborative environment with access to on-site Maternal Fetal Medicine and Reproductive Endocrinology specialists, allowing for coordinated and comprehensive patient care. 

Location: Brooklyn, NY 
Reports To: Medical Leadership 
Employment Type: Full Time, On-Site 
Call: Equitably shared rotation with one post-call day 
Salary: $350,000 – $400,000 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care to patients across the continuum of care 
  • Manage prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and gynecologic patients in accordance with evidence-based practices 
  • Perform deliveries and surgical procedures as clinically appropriate 
  • Collaborate with Maternal Fetal Medicine, Reproductive Endocrinology, nursing staff, and support teams to ensure coordinated patient care 
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation 
  • Participate in call rotation as scheduled 
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and clinical best practices 
  • Support patient education and promote women’s health and wellness within the community 
  • Foster a collaborative, respectful, and patient-centered clinical environment 

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree 
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology 
  • Eligibility for medical licensure in the State of New York 
  • Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care 
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills 
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment

Compensation 
Competitive salary ranging from $350,000 – $450,000 with potential performance-based incentives. The organization also offers opportunities for professional development and long-term growth.
