Position Overview
Our client is seeking a CDL Passenger Endorsement Driver to provide safe, reliable, and timely transportation services for individuals enrolled in the MTA Access-A-Ride program. This role requires strong responsibility, attention to safety, and excellent communication skills.

Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $25.00/hour

Key Responsibilities

Transport individuals with disabilities and elderly passengers, including those using wheelchairs
Ensure safe and timely transportation based on assigned trip manifests
Collect fares and remit them to the base at the end of each shift
Maintain a clean and safe vehicle environment, including interior cleaning and emergency supply checks
Perform routine safety checks to ensure vehicle readiness
Communicate any mechanical or operational issues to appropriate staff
Follow all company and regulatory safety guidelines
Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

Valid CDL License (Class C or higher) with Passenger (P) endorsement for at least 6 months
Clean driving record
Ability to work morning or night shifts
Ability to navigate driving in New York
Strong communication skills and ability to interact with passengers effectively
Ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations

Compensation
The published salary range is used as a guide to provide prospective candidates with a level of compensation that is competitive with today’s market. The salary range for this position is a good faith estimate that allows for flexibility to align with various levels of experience, education, and performance.
