Practice Assistant
Position Overview
A growing surgical practice is seeking Practice Assistants to provide administrative support to physicians and clinical teams. This position is ideal for a highly organized professional who enjoys interacting with patients and helping ensure efficient day-to-day practice operations.
Responsibilities
- Schedule appointments and coordinate patient follow-up visits
- Answer and route incoming patient calls
- Assist with patient registration and intake processes
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Coordinate referrals and medical record requests
- Support physicians and staff with administrative needs
- Deliver excellent customer service throughout the patient experience
Qualifications
- Prior healthcare, medical office, or administrative experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organization
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with Microsoft Office and EMR systems preferred
