Position Overview
A nationwide provider of comprehensive school-based therapy and educational services is seeking Full-Time Special Education Teachers for in-person, school-based positions in Antioch, California. This opportunity offers a structured, collaborative classroom environment with professional support to help students with diverse learning needs achieve their educational goals.

Location: Antioch, CA
Job Type: Full-Time
Work Setting: In-person, school-based
Schedule: Approximately 7–7.5 hours per day, typically 7:45 AM–3:00 PM
Compensation: $57–$77 per hour, commensurate with experience
Sign-On Bonus: Available

Responsibilities

• Teach and support students with diverse learning needs in a classroom setting
• Develop, adapt, and implement engaging, curriculum-aligned lesson plans
• Maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and school staff
• Document and communicate student progress, grades, and evaluations
• Support students in achieving their educational goals
• Collaborate with school staff to maintain a positive and effective learning environment

Qualifications

• Active California Special Education Teacher (SPED) certification
• Previous teaching or special education experience
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with students, families, and school staff

Compensation & Benefits
