Key Responsibilities:
- Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify and generate new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and outreach.
- Client Meetings: Travel throughout the Tri-State area to meet with prospective and current clients, present insurance products, and close deals.
- Maintain & Grow Client Relationships: Develop long-term relationships with clients and prospects to ensure customer satisfaction and continued business growth.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and back-office support to ensure a smooth sales process, from initial contact to policy implementation.
- Reporting & Metrics: Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in our CRM system.
- Expectation of the Position: The potential candidate would bring on board a total of new premiums in the amount of $250k in the first 3 months and then a new set of goals would be revisited every 3 months.
- Experience: Proven track record in outside sales, preferably in insurance or a related industry. Existing book of business is a plus.
- Self-Starter: Ability to work independently and manage a sales territory effectively.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Travel: Must be willing to travel frequently within the Tri-State area.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using CRM software and other sales tools to manage leads and track progress.
- Commission: Competitive compensation structure with a draw base for performance-based earnings.
